Off-season Crete: 7 stunning places to enjoy

Crete is a popular summer destination, but go there before or after the July and August busy period and it will feel like a secret shared just with you. While many travellers rush to its sun-drenched beaches during the height of summer, visiting this stunning island during the quieter months offers a more intimate experience. The crowds have yet to arrive, the landscapes are bursting with vibrant colours, and the weather is just perfect for outdoor adventures. You may have heard of the famous Knossos Palace or Elounda’s luxury resorts, but I am here to show you Crete’s lesser-known gems that will leave you utterly enchanted.
